Chronic Pain Program
Urban Health Systems's interdisciplinary chronic pain program (CPP) is an evidence-based comprehensive treatment program designed for individuals suffering from chronic pain.
The CPP has been developed to address the unique and challenging needs of individuals who suffer from chronic pain. Patients in our program have typically exhausted conventional treatrment options but continue to suffer from pain beyond the normal healing period. Inactivity, deconditioning, sleep disturbance, medication over-use, pschological distress and functionals impairment are often the inevitable consequences of chronic, longstanding pain.
The evidence-based program offers hope to chronic pain sufferers by promoting rehabilitation, recovery, independence and return to a more functional and healthy lifestyle. The CPP is goal-oriented, patient-centered and comprehensive in scope.
