Urban Health Systems is home to Urban Rehab.
Urban Rehab's interdisciplinary chronic pain program (ICPP) is an evidence-based comprehensive treatment program designed for individuals suffering from chronic pain and remain functionally disabled despite conventional treatment.
The Urban Rehab ICPP has been developed to address the unique and challenging needs of individuals who suffer from chronic pain. Patients in our program have typically exhausted conventional treatrment options but continue to suffer from pain beyond the normal healing period. Inactivity, deconditioning, sleep disturbance, medication over-use, pschological distress and functionals impairment are often the inevitable consequences of chronic, longstanding pain.
The evidence-based program offers hope to chronic pain sufferers by promoting rehabilitation, recovery, independence and a return to a more functional and healthy lifestyle. The ICPP is goal-oriented, patient-centered and comprehensive in scope. Our treatment team strives to provide excellence in care, with treatment modalities supported by the empirical research literature for chronic pain.
